UK REACH
The UK’s independent chemicals regulatory framework, UK REACH, starts on 1 January 2021. If your company is manufacturing, importing or distributing chemicals in the UK, you need to follow UK REACH rules. UK REACH will maintain EU REACH’s aims and principles.
These include:
- “no data, no market”
- “last resort” on animal testing
- access to information for workers
The deadlines for submitting data under UK REACH intends to be extended by the UK government.
