SECURE YOUR USE
On 27th February, the European Commission officially incorporated 11 new substances into Annex XIV of REACH, thus enforcing their ban on use in Europe from a deadline.

Two substances belonging to the borate family are included in this list of newly banned substances: perboric acid/sodium perborate (Entry 48) and sodium peroxometaborate (Entry 49).  Manufacturers wishing to secure their use of these two borates after their banning date must prepare and submit an Authorisation dossier before 27th May 2023.

These substances, which will be banned from use starting May 2023, could be used in several industrial sectors in Europe including textiles, detergents, cosmetics, etc.

How to secure the continued use of these substances by manufacturers?

This webinar will provide you with important information to prepare your strategy:
  • Prohibited substances and their properties
  • Their known uses in Europe and the potential sectors impacted
