ECHA has just published its 10th recommendation of substances of very high concern that should in its opinion enter the list of substances subject to Authorisation (annex XIV REACH).
The list includes seven substances with a wide range of SVHC-relevant intrinsic properties ranging from PBT, vPvB, to toxic for reproduction, endocrine disrupting and respiratory sensitizing properties.
It could potentially impact a variety of sectors like inter alia the electronics sector or the cosmetics sector with the recommendation of cyclosiloxanes D4, D5 and D6 to enter the Authorisation list (see here examples of uses targeted).
