Many European countries have required for several years a declaration to poison control centres for hazardous mixtures marketed on their territory. This declaration serves to provide the best medical advice to individual consumers or health professionals in the event of exposure to hazardous mixtures.
In order to harmonize the declarations, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) has introduced a new platform of declaration to poison control centres. To facilitate declarations, a new labeling element, the Unique Formula Identifier (UFI), has also been introduced.
From 01/01/2021 manufacturers, importers and even distributors will have to ensure the conformity of product labels and related declarations.
After the 1st January 2021 deadline, what are the obligations of the different actors in the supply chain? What are the new updates published by ECHA? What about national declarations in some member states? What are the actions to be taken and the mistakes to be avoided?
This webinar will answer all of these questions.
