In February 2020, 11 new substances were added to REACH Annex XIV listing all the chemical substances which are banned in the European Union.
Trixylyl Phosphate is one of them and will not be allowed in the European Union starting in 2023, unless an application for authorisation is submitted before 27th November 2021.
The most impacted sectors are power plants, but also the automotive and electronic sectors.
What are this newly banned substance's properties? What are the conditions to extend its use? How to anticipate your applications for authorisation?
