COSMETICS IN THE MIDDLE EAST
SUCCESSFULLY EXPORTING YOUR COSMETIC PRODUCTS

EXPORTING COSMETICS TO THE MIDDLE EAST

The export of cosmetic products is submitted to restrictions depending on the area where the product is meant to be placed on. An export file must be created for all products, gathering information for the customs but also regulatory information for local registrations.

The Middle East has developed a harmonised regulation applicable in all the countries: the GCC regulation, but all the countries have their own national specificities. When exporting to the Middle East, you must make sure to comply with the regulation but also all the specificities.

The aim of this webinar is to determine the best way of exporting your cosmetic products in Middle East and which strategy to adopt, from a product that is placed firstly in a Middle Eastern country to a product already sold on another market.

AGENDA

  • Definitions countries and the GCC regulation
  • Export file: what documents to be collected
  • Strategy: placing an already EU compliant product on the market
